In
a dream sequence, Jonathan Sibha humbly stands at the podium, roughly
paraphrasing Isaac Newton, something about standing on the shoulders of TV on
the Radio and Swearing at Motorists, two musical acts that have pretty much
nailed down the craft of minimal v. lush instrumentation, electronics v.
orchestral riffs, space v. texture, and indie-croonery. JS has married these
predecessors’ most positive attributes and somehow kicked it up a notch whilst
simultaneously slowing it all down. Think of it as more highly concentrated,
syrupy, and powerful as all get out. The link below is to his bandcamp where
you can download it for whatever price you wish. More please!
