FLORIDA SKYLINE
“The Green Tapes” C45
(Midwest Collective)

Stationary or ambulant, headphones or through shitty speakers, this tape is sugar, sugar, sugar; the dosage is up to you.

Moscow’s Florida Skyline are a fairly reliable over-the-counter, auditory upper.

For anyone in a bad mood, this tape will straight up piss them off into the next hap-hap-happy dimension. “The Green Tapes” is three quarters of an hour’s worth of blindingly neon-shiny, forced-bliss techno, with both strobe and spotlights laser-focused on a teeming school of cheerful, contrapuntal synth arpeggiations & riffage (as opposed to that static anchor of stock, metronomic bass pulsings from past candycore decades) that expertly distracts and blends, simultaneously, into a state of numb acceptance.

Which is to say, Moscow’s Florida Skyline are a fairly reliable over-the-counter, auditory upper.

Which is to say, stationary or ambulant, headphones or through shitty speakers, this tape is sugar, sugar, sugar; the dosage is up to you.
