Atmospheric
noise under heavily processed and looped samples, all atop dance floor beats. I
could see this blasted over the loudspeakers of an “Oakland Hella Gay Dance
Party” and it bringing half the crowd outside for a social smoke break while
the remaining half got the ffffuck down. Even by an open window, this music
makes me feel the collective humidity of a packed-past-the-firecode basement
show. Playing it on tinny speakers at the beach would just be wrong.
