FRET! “A Vanity Spawned By Fear" C25 (Cruel Nature Recordings)

Str8 outta Newcastle Upon Tyne, FRET! sound a good bit like really early Acid King with their mix of sludgy riffs and off-key, drawling howls, but there’s also a male vocalist contributing a more Gaffney-esque screech (and punkier guitar work) to boot, making them a band that stands on its own.
