Forgetting is a tape that feels like the long process of time. The only notes on the cassette are a link, tracklist, and the recording dates - December 2017 - October 2019. These months are an obvious clue, along with the titles of tracks ("fall song" and "snow at the bottom the of well"), to recognizing the winter theme. Somehow the longest season every year, the cold months are also the ones we try the hardest to forget, the hardest, the most painful. Skizzen recognizes this and creates a blurry ambient journey through the dim times and the saddest loops. Recommended for fans of The Caretaker or Sigur Ros.
